The studios

Who Makes Online Scratch Cards?

Online casino scratch cards are built by dedicated game studios — some are scratch-and-instant-win specialists, others are slot studios with a scratch range on the side. We track 26 studios across the 200 games we review, from the biggest names in the industry to smaller, more focused catalogues. Every studio below links through to the games of theirs we cover.

A few names dominate by volume — SpinOro and Hacksaw Gaming alone account for more than half of the games we currently list — but the long tail matters too. Smaller studios often move faster on niche themes and mechanics that the bigger names haven't gotten to yet, and a studio's size doesn't tell you much about whether an individual card is worth your time; check the review, not just the logo. We deliberately don't rank studios against each other here — this is a directory, not a league table, and "biggest" and "best" aren't the same thing in this format.

Some studios listed here build scratch cards as their primary focus; others produce them as a small side range alongside a much larger slot catalogue. Both approaches show up on this list because both produce genuine scratch card titles worth reviewing on their own merits. As we review more games, expect this list to grow rather than stay fixed at its current size over the coming months.

Straight answers

Do bigger studios make better scratch cards?

Not necessarily — studio size mainly reflects how many games they've released, not how well any single card plays. Some of the more distinctive mechanics on this site come from smaller, more focused studios rather than the largest names.

Why do some studios only have one or two games listed?

Most studios on this list build slots or other game types primarily, with scratch cards as a smaller part of a much larger catalogue. A low count here just means scratch cards aren't their main focus, not that they're a minor company overall.

Will you add more studios over time?

Yes — this list reflects what we've verified and can source real artwork for right now. As we add more games, new studios will appear here automatically.
